Wild Turkey and Potatoes

Wild Turkey and PotatoesIf you’re looking for a quick, simple, and delicious way to prepare your wild turkey breast, look no further.  This easy recipe will comfortably serve two but could be stretched to four, but you may want to make more should you over indulge!

1 lb cubed wild turkey breast

1 green bell pepper

3 large potatoes

1 tsp of ground black pepper

1/2 Tbls of salt

1 Tbls of garlic powder

2 Tbls of parsley flakes

4 Tbls of olive oil

Heat your olive oil in a large , deep skillet with medium heat.  Then slice your potatoes thin, less than 1/4″, place into the oil and cover.  Cube your turkey breast and slice the pepper.  Then add it to the skillet along with the salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and parsley flakes.  Cover the skillet but be vigilant and stir frequently to prevent potatoes from sticking.  After about 15-20 min or when turkey is no longer pink in the middle and potatoes are soft, it will be ready to serve.  Simple and delicious!

Note:  Presentation adds to the enjoyment of the meal.  So feel free to experiment with different potatoes and colored peppers.  I have used red potatoes with green peppers and Yukon Gold’s with green peppers and both turn out as appetizing to look at as they are to eat!
