Wild Turkey and Bowtie Pasta

An italian pasta dish with a touch of home.  You will wow your family or guests with both the presentation and flavor of this plate.

Ingredients (serves 4)

1 pound wild turkey breast

3 cups bowtie pasta

1 large tomatoe

1/2 cup of pesto

4 oz of canned mushroom pieces

4 oz of sliced black olives

2 tablespoons of olive oil

Trim fat from 1 pound of wild turkey breast and cube into bite-sized pieces.  In a 4 quart pot, bring 2 quarts of water to a boil and add pasta.  Meanwhile, in a 10″ frying pan, heat olive oil and add turkey cubes.  Dice tomatoe and slice olives.  Once pasta and turkey are cooked, drain the water from the pasta.  Pour pasta into serving bowl and add the turkey, pesto, tomatoe, olives, and mushrooms.  Mix thoroughly and serve.
