Preview List

Even if it Breaks Your Heart by Will Hoge/Eli Young band (covered by kevin Jones)

Keep On Dreamin’ Even If It Breaks Your Heart by Will Hoge, recorded and released by Eli Young Band. Every aspiring musician’s theme song. I tried to do it more in the Will Hoge style as seen on “Music Fog.”

Higher by Kevin Jones

Stay tuned. I’d like to get a vid of this song with the rest of my friends in the worship band “Unbound” so you can really feel the music. I got the idea for this song by being reminded of the story of Elijah while reading it to my son one night. I’m not trying to beat around the bush lyrically at all here. I believe that my God has the power to set us free from sin and can unlock any door if we just seek Him out. Although I’m blessed beyond belief, sometimes I wish the ways of this world would pass and we could be swept away to be with our Lord like Elijah.

All of Creation by Mercy Me (covered by Kevin Jones)

I look like such a dork, but I really wanted to give glory where it’s due on this site. Indeed the reason we are here is to share the gospel of Jesus Christ. I am a sinner and fall short of the glory of God many times and I’m so thankful that He is always there and forgives me. Even when I give up on myself, I know I’m not alone and there is a perfect savior that has paid the ultimate price for my salvation. I believe that Jesus is the Christ the son of the LIVING God.

A Different Road by Kevin Jones

This is a song I wrote several years ago. Something about how work and busy life distracts us from our dreams and the important things in life like family. Hope you like it

Love Vacation by Kevin Jones

I wrote this song last Friday night. Would be cool if there were drums and other instruments with this one. Hint, hint…

It Ain’t Easy Being Me by Chris Knight (covered by Kevin Jones)

If I had to pick a favorite song, it would probably be “It Ain’t Easy Being Me.” Thanks Sam for introducing me to Chris Knight.

Joshua at Jericho by Kevin Jones

based on true events.

Crazy Girl by Eli Young band (covered by Kevin jones)

Hold Us Together by Matt Maher (covered by Kevin Jones)

Trouble by Ray LaMontagne (covered by Kevin Jones)

Springstein by Eric Church (covered by Kevin Jones)

Not the best, but I tried. It’s a little bit rushed. Church is a great songwriter. One of my favs. I think this song had some really cool ideas blending Springsteen song titles and even the signature 80′s Springsteen and E Street Band sound with it. Great production on the Chief album. Wish I could do it justice.

Interstate by Randy Rogers Band (covered by Kevin Jones)

Complain by Kevin Jones (Live from the Farnsworth House Inn)

Red Light by David Nail (covered by Kevin Jones – Live from the Palisades)

Mighty to Save – Unbound Exclusive featuring Kevin Jones

Follow You by Unbound Exclusive featuring Kevin Jones

Midnight Rider by The Allman Brothers (covered by Kevin Jones Live from the Farnsworth House Inn)

Six Feet by Kevin Jones

This is a song I wrote this week. No real [conscious] rhyme or reason. Disclaimer – This is not about my wife. I like how this one turned out though. The lyrics don’t really shine through in the video though.

The Butterfly by Kevin Jones

I wasn’t really focused on the melody of the song, but more the story. This song represents the transformation we take throughout our lives vs. our expectations and what we make of the outcome. In this case the caterpillar (person) doesn’t end up becoming what he thinks his destiny is. Bummer. I can relate. Guess that’s why I wrote the song. However, I believe that our destiny is what we make of it. Let’s do our best. Peace and love – Kevin
